The Beastie Boys are back with a brand new album, taking a more instrumental vibe this time, with their latest release The Mix-Up.
The seventh studio album is the follow-up to 2004’s To The 5 Boroughs, this time seeing Diamond, Horovitz and Yauch back on drums, guitar and bass, with able assistance from Keyboard Money Mark and percussionist Alfredo Ortiz, on 12 brand new wordless, sample-less, scratchless originals, which will no doubt please fans of the instrumental cuts from Check Your Head and Ill Communication.

The Beastie Boys will be playing at several European festivals throughout
June and July, including Live Earth at Wembley Stadium on July 7 along
with a show on September 4 at Brixton, London.
