Crossfire
Birthday
Well,
on Sunday 3rd October...
we said Happy Birthday
to

when they came here as part of
their 3rd birthday tour!
Owner Zac kindly organised the whole day, judged the best trick and
highest ollie comps, did some DJ-ing and even found time to skate himself.
And what a brilliant day it was!!
With the band 'HidingPlace'
playing live for part of the day
and demos by the Death Team there was
a real buzz about The Park.

Check out www.hidingplace.tv
The five X-Box pods with Tony Hawks new Underground 2
installed were very popular
and the two highest scorers and lucky winners of X-boxes were
Michael Wilde
and Dean Davison
Freddie Duffield again starred on the mixing decks just as he did on
the Motorola Day in August – but this time we forgot to take a
picture of
him in action …. Sorry, Freddie!
Everyone who came in was entered in the free draw for a Death Deck,
and the winner, drawn out of the hat by Zac was………

………. James Muttitt!
Plenty of prizes were handed out for best tricks on various ramps, but
the one that attracted the most attention was the highest ollie comp
using The Park’s very own infinitely-variable ollie-ometer!
It was restricted to those 16yrs or under and eventually developed into
a tussle between Harrison Bailey and Chris Yeomans. After many sudden
death deciders it was eventually won by Harrison … shown here
in action
Here’s another pic of Harrison (with Chris) with the pro set up
he received for his efforts.

The set up was very kindly donated by SK8X shop in Skegness (Thanks
Julie & John) so if ever you are in that part of the world give
them a look.
Then there was the usual product bung

And if you still didn’t manage to get anything, Zac provided everybody
with a goodie-bag containing stickers, wristband and compilation CD!!
WOWeeeeeee!
So, once again, Happy 3rd Birthday
Crossfire !
and thank you Zac for a great day.
We look forward to Crossfire’s 4th Birthday !!
If you haven’t been on it already, have a look at the footage of
