Kid Acne

Here at the skate park this week we have 2 ‘Kid Acne’ albums to give away. Who is Kid Acne? Well if you like your hip hop with a tinge of old school then you are going to love this release.
Sheffield’s one man Beastie Boy and champion gob-wobbler Kid Acne turns it up and brings the noise with a blistering new single release, banging Gescom remix by electronic alchemists Autechre, all supported by a rocking live tour this month.
Autobiographical ode Eddy Fresh - taken from Kid Acne’s rightly acclaimed* Romance Ain’t Dead album - sees the rabble rousing rapper righteously spraying braggadocio warning shots left, right and centre. The lyrical onslaught is underpinned by mighty and thunderous beats courtesy of Req One [Warp Records] and Acne’s fellow Sheffield resident Ross Orton [MIA, Jarvis Cocker]. The end result is a single of sonic shock and awe not to be messed with.
In addition to his endeavors on disc, Kid Acne [aka Ackers, aka Ken Acid, aka Kidney Ache] will be gracing venues across the UK with his lyrical antics and musical mayhem at the live shows listed overleaf. As well as tearing up traditional live venues, Ackers will also be visiting various pubs bringing his own unique Eddy Freshness to the nation’s drinking establishments. Find Kid Acne online at http://www.myspace.com/kidacne123 and http://kidacne.com and watch his video here on YouTube - http://uk.youtube.com/watch?v=1N1cUaZ6_BQ - New single ‘Eddy Fresh’ is released on 26th November, go get it!
